同學(xué),上午好。答案選的是increase exposure to A rated MBS tranche and decrease exposure to BBB rated MBS tranche。
因為房價下跌,不還貸風(fēng)險增加。所以要增加A評級的MBS,降低BBB評級的MBS。

哦,那選擇MBS而非CDO的原因是啥?房價下降對MBS的價格影響也不能確定吧,那為啥就選MBS呢?我看到答案里寫了reduce the target risk而非overall market risk但不是很認(rèn)同

因為MBS是住房抵押貸款,與房價相關(guān)。如果房價下跌,那么買房的人,可以選擇不還貸,那么MBS就收不回貸款,即MBS違約。
CDO(Collateralized Debt Obligation)的底層資產(chǎn)是債券,而非房子,所以和房價關(guān)聯(lián)不大。
