Money Duration: Money durations of all three possible immunizing portfolios match or closely match the money duration of the outflow portfolio. 2. Convexity: Given that the money duration requirement is met by all three possible immunizing portfolios, the portfolio with the lowest convexity that is above the outflow portfolio’s convexity of 135.142 should be selected. 但是書上說 The conditions to immunize multiple liabilities are that (1) the market value of assets is greater than or equal to the market value of the liabilities, (2) the asset basis point value (BPV) equals the liability BPV, and (3) the dispersion of cash flows and the convexity of assets are greater than those of the liabilities. Portfolio 2 的 BPV是小於 Liability的。另外，上課的時(shí)候有說要選convexity大的。滿足這兩項(xiàng)的應(yīng)該是Portfolio 1. 請(qǐng)問為什麼答案是Portfolio2?

同學(xué)你好，這個(gè)地方雖然組合2的MD是小的，但是總體來說是很接近的，相差不是很多，如果用百分形式表示，是低了0.000097886%，所以這個(gè)差別是可以忽略不計(jì)的..。如果差很多的話是不能選這個(gè)的。
這道題的關(guān)鍵是在MD比較接近的前提下，通過convexity 來進(jìn)行判斷。

但是convexity 在上課的時(shí)候說越大越好。而且在問題中也沒有提到要 minimize structure risk。但是為什麼解答要我們 minimize structure risk?

同學(xué)你好，這里是一個(gè)默認(rèn)的前提..。在LDI下，我們是要找到一個(gè)合適的資產(chǎn)去匹配相關(guān)的負(fù)債。在追求收益的前提下，convexity越大越好。在這種模式下，我們不是追求什么收益而是希望盡量能使資產(chǎn)端所產(chǎn)生的現(xiàn)金流，能夠匹配負(fù)債端。要盡可能降低這種風(fēng)險(xiǎn)，降低這種風(fēng)險(xiǎn)就要盡可能降低現(xiàn)金流的離散程度，因而convexity越低越好。

同學(xué)你好，對(duì)于所有的multiple liabilities 都是這種思路，但是對(duì)multiple時(shí)有個(gè)前提假設(shè)，資產(chǎn)的凸性起碼要大于負(fù)債的凸性。有些比較細(xì)節(jié)的問題會(huì)在強(qiáng)化班補(bǔ)充的。
