CFA三級(jí)考試中輸入公式的相關(guān)操作：三級(jí)考試不要求在答題中將公式寫(xiě)出來(lái)，最終結(jié)果正確即可獲得對(duì)應(yīng)題目的所有分?jǐn)?shù)。
對(duì)于有些題目的回答，寫(xiě)出正確的計(jì)算公式可能可以幫助考生得到部分分?jǐn)?shù)。為此，機(jī)考軟件中將包含公式編輯器（math editor）供考生使用。另外，考生也可以將部分或全部公式以文字形式寫(xiě)出來(lái)。
例如：The maximum spending rate that will allow the Foundation to preserve the portfolio's real value is calculated using the following formula: Expected nominal return that preserves real value of portfolio equals (one plus spending rate) multiplied by (one plus inflation) multiplied by (one plus management fee) minus one.
