你的理解是對的，depreciation expense included in earnings before tax指的是包含在稅前利潤（EBT）中的折舊費(fèi)用，所以這里的9000指的就是折舊費(fèi)用。
earnings before tax reported on the income statement指的就是利潤表中的稅前利潤（EBT），折舊費(fèi)用是在稅前列支所以計(jì)算出的EBT是已經(jīng)考慮了折舊的。所以5280稅前利潤是已經(jīng)扣除了9000的折舊費(fèi)用計(jì)算出的。
