A closet indexer is defined as a fund that advertises itself as being actively managed but is substantially similar to an index fund in its exposures. 也就是主動(dòng)策略的基金，但是僅比被動(dòng)指數(shù)基金的主動(dòng)份額和主動(dòng)風(fēng)險(xiǎn)高一點(diǎn)。
這個(gè)是我們?cè)趯W(xué)習(xí)Active Share和Active Risk的時(shí)候?qū)W到的一種主動(dòng)投資指數(shù)基金，還比較常見。因?yàn)槠渲鲃?dòng)風(fēng)險(xiǎn)和主動(dòng)份額都較低，因此較低的主動(dòng)風(fēng)險(xiǎn)表明它是一個(gè)closet indexer。
