是的。雖然一般我們認為發(fā)行的總股數(shù)大部分都是可以自由交易的流通股（outstanding）。
但是如果要強調(diào)公眾可以沒有任何限制交易的股份，我們一般可以用float表示，所以我們說的Float-Adjusted Market-Capitalization Weighting，就是在outstanding的股票中，找到真正沒有交易限制的(float)的部分來編制指數(shù)。

only a portion of the shares outstanding are available to the investing public (the rest are held by a small group of controlling investors).
所以你可以理解為float的股份是outstanding股份的一部分。
