As is the case with trusts, insurance can produce tax and estate planning benefits. Death benefit proceeds paid to life insurance beneficiaries are tax exempt in many jurisdictions, and in some cases, no tax-reporting consequences arise. 在很多國家的法律中，當壽險的投保人死亡時，受益人所收取的資金是免稅的，也不需要申報稅收。其實各國的稅法是不同的，有的是對proceed有稅收優(yōu)惠，有的直接免稅。
