（1）這題目里問的是“most likely”。如果一個人是Unemployed，然后他變成了 Discouraged worker，Unemployment rate分子變小，那么失業(yè)率會下降。這也是某些國家粉飾失業(yè)率的手段。如果這個人是employed，然后變成Discouraged worker，失業(yè)率自然不會變。
（2）increase in Underemployed不會影響Participation rate，所以B錯
a decrease in Voluntarily unemployed person會增加labor force，繼而增大Participation rate，所以C錯。

（1）Discouraged worker不屬于unemployed的？書上第幾頁有明確寫？
（2）解答中第2行：如果這個人是employed，然后變成Discouraged worker，失業(yè)率自然不會變。我的疑問是，失業(yè)率=unemployed/labor force, 由于discouraged worker既不屬于employed, 也不屬于unemployed, 所以不包括在labor force之內(nèi)，所以失業(yè)率不變？
（3）underemployed以及voluntarily unemployed屬于employed, 還是unemployed, 還是labor force, 還是total population?
（4）答復(fù)第2點：increase in Underemployed不會影響Participation rate，所以B錯---? underemployed既不算入participation rate的分子labor force之中，也不算入participation rate的分母total population of working age之中？

（1）237頁Discouraged worker的定義: A person who has stopped looking for a job. Perhaps
because of a weak economy, the discouraged worker has given up seeking
employment. Discouraged workers are statistically outside the labor force (similar
to children and retirees), which means they are not counted in the official
unemployment rate.
（2） 不好意思，這種情況失業(yè)率應(yīng)該是變大。如果一個人從employed變成了discouraged worker,那么lobor force會減小，失業(yè)率會增加。
（3）underemployed算employed；Voluntarily unemployed算total population of working age,不算在labor force 中
(4)因為underemployed算employed，所以如果一個人從unemployed變成了underemployed，Participation rate的分子分母都不受影響
（5）這個人原先是Voluntarily unemployed，他現(xiàn)在不管是決定employed還是unemployed，都會增大Labor force分子。
